The New England Patriots had another long injury report on Wednesday, ahead of their Week 4 showdown with the Buffalo Bills. However, this injury report included quarterback Drake Maye and cornerback Christian Gonzalez.
Maye was listed as a full participant at practice with a shoulder injury. As it turns out, there might have been fire to some of the smoke surrounding the third-year quarterback's possible shoulder issues. Gonzalez is also dealing with a shoulder injury, and he did not participate in practice.
Star defensive tackle Christian Barmore was out with a shoulder injury as well.
It's concerning for a Patriots team that hasn't been able to shake the injury bug. Up to this point, they have placed 17 players on injured reserve. There were
six key contributors limited at practice ahead of one of the toughest matchups on the 2026 schedule.
That isn't what anybody wants to hear for a team that has started the season off 1-2 after getting blown out by the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. Here's the full injury report on Wednesday:
