New England Patriots wide receiver Romeo Doubs exited to the locker room after hauling in a 42-yard touchdown pass in Sunday's game against the New York Jets.
He is officially listed as questionable to return with a shoulder injury.
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye had all day to survey the field, as Doubs snuck behind the defense in the end zone. Maye delivered a perfectly thrown ball deep to get the Patriots on the board in the first quarter.
However, after the play was over, Doubs remained on the ground. He walked off the field slowly with the trainers and was later seen heading to the locker room.
Keep in mind that the Patriots are already missing veteran wide receiver Mack Hollins. They did get star wideout A.J. Brown back on the field for the first
time since the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks, but it's clear that the receiving corps has continued to get hit hard by the injury bug.

If Doubs is sidelined, the Patriots still have Brown, DeMario Douglas, Efton Chism III and Kyle Williams to go to at receiver. They have made it work with a bunch of different receivers regardless of the opponent. They might have to continue doing so against an underrated Jets defense.
