The New England Patriots kick-start the 2026 season with a Super Bowl LX rematch with the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday.
They've made the trek across the country to Lumen Field, where they'll have to watch the Seahawks hang their Super Bowl banner ahead of the Week 1 matchup. It won't get much more motivating than that for the Patriots, who were blown out on the big stage in a 29-13 loss.
With that said, these are two completely different football teams from the ones that faced off in the Super Bowl. The Seahawks have a new offensive coordinator in first-time play-caller Brian Fleury, while the Patriots have experienced a serious offensive facelift with an improved offensive line and the additions of A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs.
