The growing connection between New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and wide receiver Kyle Williams was on full display for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
With both A.J. Brown and Mack Hollins sidelined with injuries, Williams stepped up as the Patriots' top deep threat receiver, hauling in three receptions for a team-high 91 yards and one touchdown.
One reception went 35 yards for a touchdown, and the other was a 49-yard bomb that took the top of the Raiders' defense. Williams has teased his explosive potential on the football field, but he has struggled to put it together consistently enough in games.
However, he was up and rolling on the field against the visiting Raiders.

The Patriots are hoping to get Brown back on the field as soon as the Week 6 game against the New York Jets. His return could create even more opportunities for the team to exploit opposing defenses on the other side of the field with Williams.
