New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown went down with an injury in the third quarter of Wednesday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.
The three-time All-Pro wideout stayed on the ground after suffering what looked like a lower-leg injury after contact on an incomplete pass. Seahawks cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett was in coverage, and it looked like his knee came down on Brown's ankle during the play.
Brown limped off the field under his own power, clearly in pain, and was eventually taken back to the locker room for further testing.
With Brown sidelined, the Patriots are left with Romeo Doubs, DeMario Douglas, Kyle Williams and Mack Hollins. Efton Chism III was among the list of inactives for the game.
Before the injury, Brown had three catches
for 26 yards against the Seahawks' defense.
