The New England Patriots will have a chance to reignite their season when heading on the road to face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
After getting walloped 35-6 by the Jacksonville Jaguars last week, the Patriots could turn a corner with an upset win over the Bills in Week 4. But they'll need better contributions from their offense, which has been cold through the first three weeks of the season.
Maye went 14-of-25 passing for 199 yards, no touchdowns, two interceptions and one fumble against the Jaguars. The offense also failed to establish a rushing attack whatsoever, with TreVeyon Henderson leading the way with eight carries for 23 yards. With A.J. Brown still sidelined with an ankle injury, Mack Hollins led all receivers with six receptions
for 87 yards in the game.
The Bills had a tough outing against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3, but the Josh Allen-led team fought back after trailing by double digits early in a 24-16 victory. He finished the game going 16-of-26 passing for 240 yards, two interceptions and two rushing touchdowns.
However, James Cook was the real star of the game with 24 carries for 154 yards and a touchdown. He'll be looking to exploit a Patriots team that won't have star defensive tackle Christian Barmore on the defensive front. Along with missing Barmore, the Patriots will also be without their star cornerback, Christian Gonzalez.
It'll be a huge test for New England when facing a Bills defense that leads the league with an average of 33.7 points per game, while also ranking fourth overall in total offense with an average of 401.7 yards per game.
Here are the final predictions from the Patriots Wire staff ahead of the Week 4 matchup:
