The New England Patriots face one of their toughest tests of the season when hosting the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
They'll have to contend with the Packers' high-powered offense that features quarterback Jordan Love, running back Josh Jacobs and two elite playmaking wide receivers in Christian Watson and Matthew Golden. On the defensive side of the ball, the Packers have a top-10 passing defense that is holding opponents to an average of 195 passing yards per game on the road this season.
That goes without mentioning that the Patriots will once again be shorthanded on offense. Star wide receiver A.J. Brown and running back TreVeyon Henderson have both been ruled out for the game.
But Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, who earned Offensive Player
of the Month honors in October, has continued to find ways to keep the team competitive. It also helps to have an elite defense on the other side of the ball.
The Patriots are coming off a 24-19 win over the Miami Dolphins last week, while the Packers knocked off the Carolina Panthers in a 27-19 victory.
Here are the final predictions from the Patriots Wire staff:
Danny Jaillet: Packers 27, Patriots 23
Sophie Weller: Patriots 24, Packers 20
Jordy McElroy: Patriots 24, Packers 20
Matt Legros: Packers 30, Patriots 23
