New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry is a player worth adding in fantasy football for Week 7.
ESPN named Henry as being the top tight end to add off of the waiver wire in fantasy football this week as his recent production makes him an appealing option for managers in need of a boost in production or replacement in their lineups.
“Henry caught yet another TD pass Sunday, giving him double-digit fantasy points in three consecutive outings,” ESPN’s Eric Karabell wrote. “Perhaps few would regard Henry as a top-10 fantasy tight end this season. Then again, New England's schedule over the next month is quite favorable (Bears, Dolphins, Packers, Lions)."
Henry had a solid performance in Week 6 against the New York Jets, recording four receptions
for 48 yards and a touchdown on five targets. The touchdown grab continued a productive stretch for the veteran tight end, who has provided consistent contributions to New England’s passing attack.
Through six weeks, Henry has recorded 19 receptions for 225 yards and two touchdowns on 24 targets. He has scored at least 11.2 PPR fantasy points in three consecutive games, strengthening his appeal as a streaming option. His connection with quarterback Drake Maye provides additional upside, particularly with injuries affecting the Patriots’ wide receiving room.
Henry and the Patriots will face the Chicago Bears in Week 7. The Bears have allowed 1,368 passing yards and nine passing touchdowns this season, presenting a potentially favorable opportunity for Henry to maintain his recent production this week.
