New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown returned to practice Wednesday, taking an important step toward rejoining the lineup after missing time with an ankle injury.
Patriots Wire’s Sophie Weller posted a video of Brown on the practice field after sitting out for the last four weeks.
The Patriots traded for Brown in the offseason and saw him play in their season opener, which culminated in him suffering a high ankle sprain during the game. He recorded three receptions for 26 yards before leaving the game.
His return is expected to provide a significant boost to New England’s passing attack as the Patriots prepare for their upcoming matchup against the New York Jets. Brown’s progress will be monitored throughout the week and will be an important
factor in determining whether or not he will be ready to return to game action against the Jets.
