The New England Patriots defeated the Las Vegas Raiders by a 45-17 margin. This was a game where the Patriots established their dominance early and did not look back.
Quarterback Drake Maye had his best game of the season, going 26-of-34 passing for 374 yards and four touchdowns, along with rushing for 25 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, running back Rhamondre Stevenson carried the load with 13 carries for 64 yards and a touchdown.
That being said, it was the wide receivers who played at a high level, despite missing both A.J. Brown and Mack Hollins.
Kyle Williams led all receivers with three catches for 91 yards and a touchdown. DeMario Douglas had four catches for 65 yards and two touchdowns, and Efton Chism III followed his heroic performance
against the Buffalo Bills last week by hauling in five receptions for 57 yards on the day.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Patriots shut down the Raiders for the most part with four of their cornerbacks missing in action. Christian Gonzalez, Carlton Davis III, Karon Prunty and Channing Canada were all out for the game. Still, the Patriots found a way to get the job done in dominant fashion in their home building.

Two weeks ago, the Patriots got embarrassed in Jacksonville.

Since then? A win in Buffalo and a 45-17 beatdown of the Raiders.
Give Vrabel, Maye, and this team credit for responding. Josh McDaniels called a flawless football game as well.
Patriots playing REALLY good football on both sides the past 2 weeks.

And they're down a bunch of starters too.
Hopefully the Rams take care of business tomorrow night and NE will be 1st in the East.
Incredibly impressive outing by the Patriots today down so many players and against a well coached Raiders team.

Mike Vrabel and the rest of the coaching staff deserve a ton of credit for this one.
Drake maye 5 touchdowns over 400 combined yards. Probably back to back offensive player of the week and had a better performance against raiders then any team even Mahomes and the chiefs. This is why haters shouldn’t write off a young QB in the first 3 weeks of a season pic.twitter.com/7awFlKDSMG
