It was mostly a defensive showcase for the Patriots last week against the Indianapolis Colts, with the reserve units getting all of the snaps. The lone touchdown for the Patriots came on a Tommy DeVito throw to second-year wide receiver Kyle Williams.

New England had a chance to win the game on a field goal kick, but kicker Andy Borregales whiffed from 49 yards out, ending it in a 13-13 tie.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are coming off a 24-7 blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens in their preseason opener last week. Their reserve units will try to make things more respectable against the Patriots in Week 2. Both teams are not expected

to play their starters in this matchup after the teams held two joint training camp practices.
