There was a long list of names on the New England Patriots' Week 6 injury report.
Such has been the case all season for a Patriots team that has not been able to stay healthy. There was both good news and bad news for the team on Wednesday.
Let's go ahead and rip off the Band-Aid and get the bad news out of the way first.
Cornerbacks Carlton Davis III and Karon Prunty, who both missed the Week 5 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, did not participate in practice. The Patriots have been dangerously thin at the cornerback position, and the fact that they are still dealing with injuries could be a major problem this week.
The good news for the Patriots is the fact that left tackle Will Campbell and running back TreVeyon Henderson were already back to
practicing in a limited capacity after they both went down with scary looking injuries last week. Star wide receiver A.J. Brown and cornerback Christian Gonzalez were both on the practice field together for the first time since Week 1.
So reinforcements are clearly on the way for the Patriots, even though there is no confirmed timetable for when they will arrive. Here is Wednesday's full injury report for the team:
