The New England Patriots hosted rookie outside linebacker Dasan McCullough for a visit, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, as the team makes its final preparations for the upcoming 2026 NFL season.
McCullough entered the league with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2026. He began his college career at Indiana in 2022 before transferring to Oklahoma, where he played from 2023-24 and then playing at Nebraska in 2025.
The Kansas native recorded 27 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and two sacks last season at Nebraska prior to entering the league. He also registered three passes defensed for the Cornhuskers.
The Patriots will enter next season with starting edge rusher Harold Landry on the physically unable to perform list. Dre’Mont Jones
and Elijah Ponder will man the edge rusher slots to begin the season in New England, with Gabe Jacas and Quintayvious Hutchins behind them in the rotation.
McCullough is now in consideration to join that mix.
