The New England Patriots will be wearing their all-blue uniforms on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. This was officially announced on the team's social media account on Thursday.
The Patriots last wore the all-blue uniforms in their 26-19 win over the New York Jets in Week 6. They'll hope for continued luck with the color combination when hosting the 5-3 Packers at Gillette Stadium in Week 9. The Packers are coming off a bounce-back win over the Carolina Panthers, while the Patriots went to Miami and handled business on the road against the Dolphins last week.
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye earned honors for AFC Offensive Player of the Month in October, but he'll face a major test against a Packers defense that ranks top 10 at defending
against the pass.

This will be a good measuring stick game for the Patriots.
Granted, they'll likely be shorthanded again with multiple players currently battling through injuries. But they've remained resilient throughout the season, and a win over the Packers would be their biggest victory since upsetting the Buffalo Bills in Week 4.
