New England Patriots defensive tackle Cory Durden had a sharp response for the NFL after the league released its power rankings heading into the Week 4 slate of games.
Durden pushed back on the NFL on social media, questioning the league for ranking the Patriots No. 31 overall in last week's power rankings, responding with a succinct message.
“31?” Durden wrote, as the video montage showed the Patriots at the second-to-last slot in the rankings.
New England had dropped 13 positions in the latest list after losing in Week 3 to the Jacksonville Jaguars, leaving them ahead of only the Tennessee Titans and creating a perceivable unfair appraisal prior to the most recent set of games.

The Patriots were 1-2 at the time of the ranking,
with several winless teams in the league outside of the Titans, including the Los Angeles Chargers and Miami Dolphins, having been ranked ahead of them on the list.
However, New England changed the narrative surrounding their early-season woes by securing a big 29-26 win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 4, prompting Durden's clap back on social media.
