The New England Patriots suffered another blow on Sunday with starting left tackle Will Campbell going down with a knee injury against the Las Vegas Raiders.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the second-year offensive lineman is believed to have suffered a knee sprain that will cause him to miss some time this season. However, the full extent of the injury won't be known until he undergoes an MRI on Monday.
Campbell walked off the field with two trainers at his side after suffering the injury. He was later seen standing on the sideline and also working out on the stationary bike.
With Campbell out of the game, the Patriots were forced to turn to rookie first-round draft pick Caleb Lomu to step in at left tackle. Lomu has predominantly worked
on the right side as the top backup for veteran offensive tackle Morgan Moses, but the Patriots decided to go with him in a pinch on the left side against the Raiders.

The Patriots have now lost two starting offensive linemen this season. They are down to their third option at right guard after losing Mike Onwenu and Greg Van Roten. Ben Brown has stepped in admirably and held up his end as a replacement.
We'll see if Lomu can do the same.
