The New England Patriots released their list of inactives ahead of Wednesday's showdown with the Seattle Seahawks.
As the team announced on Tuesday, second-year running back TreVeyon Henderson is out for the Week 1 opener with an ankle injury. That prompted the team to elevate Lan Larison, who will be active for his first NFL game. He will serve as the No. 3 running back option for New England behind Rhamondre Stevenson and Corey Kiner.
Outside of Henderson, there were no real surprises for the Patriots ahead of the Super Bowl LX rematch. But the same can't be said about the Seahawks, who are missing both starting safeties, Nick Emmanwori and Ty Okada for the game.
Okada was ruled out on Tuesday, while Emmanwori remained questionable with a chance
to play. However, the team has now confirmed that the star second-year safety will not be on the field when the Seahawks' defense goes head-to-head against quarterback Drake Maye and the new-look Patriots offense.
