The New England Patriots will be missing one of their top defenders heading into Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Veteran cornerback Carlton Davis III has officially been ruled out with a neck injury. The team will also be down a reserve offensive tackle with Dametrious Crownover being deemed inactive for the Week 2 game. Defensive tackle Leonard Taylor, offensive tackle Walter Rouse, quarterback Behren Morton and tight end Tanner Arkin are also out.
The Steelers will also be missing key players with cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and wide receiver Michael Pittman inactive for the game. Porter is currently in the middle of a contract dispute, and his absence could open things up for the Patriots' passing attack.
