The New England Patriots could be missing veteran cornerback Carlton Davis III for Sunday's Week 2 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
On Friday's official injury report, Davis was listed as questionable to play with a neck injury.
Davis hasn't practiced all week with the injury, which puts his availability for the game in jeopardy. It would be a tough blow for the Patriots' defensive backfield when facing legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers' offense.
It would force the team to turn to either Marcus Jones or Charles Woods to help fill the void. The Patriots' defense played well in the season opener, even in the loss to the Seattle Seahawks. But they'll be facing a far tougher test than backup quarterback Drew Lock this week.

Christian Gonzalez is expected to be keyed in on Steelers receiver DK Metcalf, and that could lead Rodgers to test Jones and Woods early if Davis is out.
With A.J. Brown missing on offense and Davis questionable to play, the injuries are clearly starting to mount for the Patriots.
