The jersey numbers for some of the New England Patriots' newcomers were revealed this week.
Following the ugly preseason finale, the Patriots spent the rest of last week cutting their roster down to 53 players before the deadline. They have continued to tinker with the roster through multiple moves this week, leading to several new faces popping up on the depth chart.
They sent wide receiver Kayshon Boutte packing in a trade to the Houston Texans that included safety Jaylen Reed. The team also traded for former Arizona Cardinals running back Corey Kiner and veteran guard Walter Rouse.
And they weren't done there.
The Patriots also put in waiver claims for linebacker Darius Muasau and tight end Cameron Latu in hopes of improving the depth on their
roster. Even in the final hours before the start of the regular season, it is clear that New England is leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to improve in 2026.
