New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins has generated trade interest in 2026.
According to 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Albert Breer, a contending team informed him that they were more interested in trading for Hollins than Boutte several weeks ago.
"I had a team calling me asking if the Patriots would trade Hollins," Breer said. "This was like four or five weeks ago. And I brought up [Kayshon] Boutte, and they were like, 'No, we would rather have Mack Hollins.' That team was a contender, and you'd respect them if you knew who it was. And the Patriots didn't want to trade him."
Hollins is the Patriots’ spark plug on offense. He is already off to a good start to the 2026 NFL season, having led New England in receiving yards in their 13-10 loss
to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1 with 51.
The 32-year-old Hollins is the Patriots’ tallest receiver at 6-foot-4. In addition to his size, he also gives New England another capable receiver after A.J. Brown went down with a high-ankle sprain in the season opener, which creates a larger need for dependable options in the receiving game.
Hollins brings veteran presence, physicality and special teams work to New England’s unit. Refraining from trading Hollins may be a sound option for the Patriots while Brown recovers, in the event that interest in him continues to surface.
