The New England Patriots will roll out the red carpet for the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers for a second consecutive year on Sunday.
Last year's game was marred by the Patriots playing hot potato with the football en route to five turnovers and a 21-14 loss. That disappointing home loss fueled a dramatic turnaround that carried the team to 10 straight wins, a playoff run, and the first Super Bowl berth since Tom Brady was the starting quarterback.
New England would love for Pittsburgh to serve as that catalyst once more in this Week 2 matchup.
The Patriots got embarrassed on the road by a Seattle Seahawks team with backup Drew Lock playing at quarterback. Drake Maye threw three interceptions, the offense imploded and for a second straight game,
including the Super Bowl LX matchup, the Seahawks left with their hand raised.
On the other end, the Steelers struggled to knock off the Atlanta Falcons with backup quarterback Cooper Rush leading the way. It took a dominating performance from former NFL Defensive Player of the Year T.J. Watt and the Steelers' defense to carry the team to a 20-13 victory.
