Following back-to-back games on the road, the New England Patriots will finally return home to Gillette Stadium for a showdown with the visiting Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
After getting blown out by the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3, quarterback Drake Maye and the Patriots found the spark they needed to go into Orchard Park and knock off the unbeaten Buffalo Bills in stunning fashion.
Maye engineered a game-winning comeback drive to put the Patriots out in front late in the fourth quarter, and the defense iced it after safety Craig Woodson intercepted Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Coming off a big win, the Patriots are entering Week 5 with more confidence than they've had all season.
But the Raiders are no pushover.
They gave Patrick Mahomes
and the Kansas City Chiefs all they could handle last week. However, they ultimately fell 30-27 in their home stadium. Before losing to the Chiefs, they won three straight games against the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans Saints.
The Raiders defeated the Patriots in the opener last season, and they'll be looking to create a little déjà vu for the Foxborough faithful.
Here are the final predictions from the Patriots Wire staff for the Week 5 matchup:
Danny Jaillet: Patriots 29, Raiders 20
Sophie Weller: Patriots 24, Raiders 17
Jordy McElroy: Patriots 24, Raiders 20
Matt LeGros: Patriots 23, Raiders 26
