New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson went down with an ankle injury in Sunday's win over the Las Vegas Raiders. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the second-year star is expected to undergo tests on Monday to determine whether or not he will miss time this season.
Henderson suffered the injury in the second quarter of the game when he was tackled following an 11-yard run. He was initially listed as questionable before being ruled out entirely with the injury. Before the injury, Henderson had 22 yards on four carries and one 16-yard catch.
The Ohio State product has been a major part of the Patriots' running game so far this season. He has 42 carries for 163 yards and a touchdown.

If Henderson misses time, the Patriots still have Rhamondre Stevenson as their top do-everything back. They would also likely turn to Corey Kiner to fill the No. 2 role at the position.
It might also open the door for Lan Larison to get more opportunities off the practice squad this season.
