New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel isn't opposed to bringing in outside help at wide receiver.
The team was already missing A.J. Brown, who is still on injured reserve, and Mack Hollins went down in Sunday's win over the Buffalo Bills with a calf injury. That puts Patriots quarterback Drake Maye in a position where he could potentially be without his two favorite downfield targets.
When asked about signing another receiver to help fill the void, Vrabel said that the team would explore that possibility.
"Sure. Anybody that can help us, we'll go explore in here shortly," said Vrabel, via Patriots Wire's Sophie Weller.

The Patriots could turn to their practice squad for a potential elevation of Cameron Dorner or Kyle Dixon. Both players popped at various points during the summer. They could also look at the free agent market or consider a possible trade.
Would the Patriots jump in with the growing number of teams interested in signing free agent former All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill? Perhaps they'd consider making a splash in the trade market for a player like Jacksonville's Brian Thomas Jr. or Arizona's Marvin Harrison Jr.
Every possibility should be on the table.
