New England Patriots wide receiver A. J. Brown was spotted walking through the Patriots locker room with no limp on Monday, per Pats Pulpit’s Brian Hines.
Brown has been out of action since Week 1, when he suffered a high ankle sprain in the opener against the Seattle Seahawks. He was placed on injured reserve shortly after with the expectation that he would miss at least the next four games of the season.
So technically, the three-time All-Pro receiver would be eligible to return by Week 6. Whether he's able to return at that time or not will depend on his continued recovery. But the fact that he's walking around without a noticeable limp is a positive sign that he is on the mend.

The Patriots offense could certainly use their No. 1 receiver back in the mix.
Quarterback Drake Maye has thrown only one touchdown pass and six interceptions through three games, and the offense as a whole has plummeted to the bottom of the league. There is light at the end of the tunnel, but the Patriots will have to wait at least two more games to potentially get there.
