The New England Patriots will be looking to pull off an upset when heading on the road to face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
It'll be an opportunity for the Patriots to get some momentum going in the 2026 season after knocking off the Pittsburgh Steelers at home in a 20-3 win last week. Meanwhile, the Jaguars will be looking to bounce back from their 20-13 loss on the road to the Denver Broncos.
The biggest question mark heading into the game pertains to quarterback Drake Maye and the Patriots' offense.
Maye has thrown four interceptions and only one touchdown through two games, and the team has struggled to establish a good enough rushing attack to keep opposing defenses on their heels. That doesn't bode well when heading on the road
against a talented Jaguars defense that excels at slowing down the ground game and getting after the quarterback.
With that said, the Patriots' defense is good enough to keep it close. They are currently the No. 1-ranked scoring defense in the league after holding the Steelers and Seattle Seahawks to a combined 16 points. Can they bother Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence enough to give the team a fighting chance?
