The New England Patriots offense found a groove in their 29-26 win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 4.
New England gained 262 passing yards, narrowly topping Buffalo’s 249 yards, and threw three touchdown passes to the Bills’ one. The Patriots also owned the rushing edge by a margin of 143-91.
New England also scored on all three of its trips in the red zone, while Buffalo converted two of four opportunities. That efficiency gave the Patriots the scoring punch needed to seal the victory.
Drake Maye led the way for New England, completing 22-of-37 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 54 yards on the ground. Hunter Henry caught five passes for 62 yards and secured a vital first down on the final drive. Romeo Doubs recorded six receptions
for 58 yards and two touchdowns, emerging as Maye’s most dangerous scoring option, and Efton Chism had the highlight play of the day with a clutch one-handed touchdown catch to seal the win.
