The New England Patriots will be more shorthanded than they've been all season when heading on the road for a clash with the Buffalo Bills at Orchard Park.
When speaking with media members on Monday, Patriots coach Mike Vrabel revealed that both cornerback Christian Gonzalez and defensive tackle Christian Barmore have officially been ruled out for the game. It's a huge blow for a Patriots team that was already dealing with multiple injuries on both sides of the ball.
They'll have to dig deep into their depth chart to make up for the losses ahead of arguably the toughest game on their entire 2026 schedule.
And it might not be over.
Along with the confirmed players out, the Patriots have several key starters who are questionable to play in the game.
The good news is that starting right tackle Morgan Moses returned to practice on Friday. With Ben Brown already stepping in for injured guards Mike Onwenu and Greg Van Roten, it would have been a total disaster on the right side if the tackle position had to be filled by a backup player as well.
