New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel gave an update on star cornerback Christian Gonzalez and defensive tackle Christian Barmore when speaking with media members on Wednesday.
Both defenders missed last week's game against the Buffalo Bills, and there was hope that they would return to practice in preparation for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Vrabel told reporters before practice that Barmore would return and do some things, but he didn't expect Gonzalez to be on the field.
"I don't expect Gonzo to be back out there today. Christian might do some things," Vrabel said, via Patriots Wire's Sophie Weller.

Gonzalez popped up on the injury report as a non-participant, while Barmore was listed as limited at practice.
The possibility of not having two of the team's best defenders in back-to-back weeks is a scary situation for the Patriots against a Raiders that has overachieved early in the season. With that said, the Patriots still have two more practices left this week before anyone hits the panic button.
