The Florida women's basketball team looks to build on a strong start to the Tammi Reiss era Thursday afternoon when it hosts UCF at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center in Gainesville. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET, and the game will stream on SEC Network+.
Reiss earned her first victory as Florida's head coach Monday with an 83-60 win over Bucknell. Junior guard Kiyomi McMiller scored 31 points, setting a program record for the most points in a Gators debut, while sophomore Vanessa Harris added a career-high 26. Florida can improve to 2-0 under Reiss, who would become just the sixth head coach in program history to win her first two games.
UCF (1-0) is also coming off a convincing season-opening victory, defeating Florida A&M 85-56 on Tuesday.
Key Roseby led the Knights with 22 points, while UCF held the Rattlers to 27.6% shooting from the field. Florida has historically dominated the series, holding a 26-1 advantage, but the Knights won the most recent meeting, 69-52, in the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
