One of the best games on this weekend's college football slate will take place inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium between the Florida Gators and Ole Miss Rebels.
Ahead of Week 4's gridiron action, USA TODAY Sports' panel of seven writers submitted their picks for every game played among those ranked in the US LBM Coaches Poll top 25, including the showdown in the Swamp. Only one respondent — Erick Smith, who has predicted correctly 48 out of 56 tries this season so far — picked the Orange and Blue to prevail on Saturday afternoon.
The remainder of the panel consisted of John Brice (50-6), Matt Hayes (52-4), Jordan Mendoza (52-4), Paul Myerberg (50-6), Eddie Timanus (50-6) and Blake Toppmeyer (49-7) favors the visitors in the SEC battle.
The all-time
series between Florida and Ole Miss dating back to 1926 is knotted at 13-13-1. The Gators have won three of the past four meetings, but the Rebels prevailed in their most recent game in Oxford last year, 34-24.
Kickoff for Florida's Week 4 matchup with Ole Miss is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on ABC.
