The initial SEC availability report for college football's Week 10 was released on Wednesday night; the Florida Gators have seven players listed, while the Oklahoma Sooners have a whopping 16.
Four Gators are listed as out: defensive lineman Jeramiah McCloud, tight end Evan Chieca, offensive lineman Emeka Ugorji and linebacker Jaden Robinson. McCloud is out due to a suspension, according to Swamp247, while Robinson missed his first game of the season last week against Georgia.
"Jeramiah McCloud has been suspended for this week's game against Oklahoma for conduct detrimental to the team. His status with the program will be re-evaluated after this week's contest," per a statement from a program spokesperson.
Listed as doubtful is wide receiver Vernell
Brown III, who has missed the last four games with a grade-1 PCL strain that he suffered against Ole Miss in Week 4 that was re-aggravated ahead of last week's Georgia game.
"So he was not available at practice today," Jon Sumrall said on Monday. "I really don't have a really strong feeling on timeline because everything early in the week last week was trending really positively until the setback on Wednesday. It sucks. It sucks for him. He's working like hell to try to get back. He's frustrated."
Sumrall added what he called his "official VB3 statement":
"He wants to play. He's doing everything he can to play. He's pissed off he can't play, and he's doing everything in his power to play. It's a real injury that we thought we were on the other side of that he had a setback last week, and it sucks. I mean, it freaking sucks for him."
The two players listed as questionable are wide receiver Bailey Stockton and defensive lineman Emmanuel Oyebadejo. Stockton has been dealing with a nagging foot injury but still played against the Bulldogs last week, finishing with 76 yards on eight catches.
