Florida softball's 2027 SEC schedule was released on Wednesday by the conference office, outlining a portion of the Gators' hopeful path to the Women's College World Series next spring.
Tim Walton's team will play eight three-game SEC series this season, split between four at home and four on the road. Florida will welcome Texas A&M (March 26-28), LSU (April 2-4), Kentucky (April 16-18) and Ole Miss (May 6-8) to Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium, while facing two-time defending NCAA champion Texas (March 12-14), back-to-back SEC champion Oklahoma (April 9-11), Alabama (April 23-25) and Missouri (April 30-May 2) away from Gainesville.
Last year, Florida finished with a 52-12 record overall and a 17-7 mark against SEC foes. The Gators earned a No.
3 seed in the conference tournament, in which they beat Auburn in the quarterfinals, but fell to No. 2 seed Alabama in the semifinals.
Walton and Co. then hosted the Gainesville Regional and swept the opposition, beating Florida A&M once and Georgia Tech twice, but stumbled in the Gainesville Super Regional against Texas Tech — who were the 2026 WCWS runners-up — in three games.
The 2027 SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 11-15 at Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama. Times and television designations will be announced at a later date.
