The Florida defense faced a top-five team with an elite quarterback and held its own. Their game against Ole Miss was by far their most impressive outing of the season, and they defeated them, 52-28.

The Florida defender was the highest-graded pass rusher in the game against Ole Miss, with a grade of 75.9. Woods also finished with the second-highest defensive player grade, 76.6.

passing sets, Woods earned an 86.8 grade from PFF, 20 points higher than second place, highlighting his impact on the defensive line's performance.
Florida's offense has proven it can score against anyone; now its defense has stopped a top team in the conference. If this continues, the Gators will have many College Football Playoff games in their future.
