Florida wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr. is questionable for the Gators' matchup against Ole Miss on Saturday. Singleton was the only player listed on Wednesday's initial SEC availability report.
Singleton suffered an ankle injury while blocking during UF's opening possession of the season and has not appeared in a game since. The senior warmed up against Auburn last week but ultimately did not play. Jon Sumrall said on Monday that Singleton ramped up his workload throughout the week and will be evaluated again on game day.
Florida has continued to find success on offense despite Singleton's absence. Offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner's unit put up at least 44 points in each of its first three games.
Ole Miss, on the other hand, listed 10 players
on its initial availability report. Six of those players have already been ruled out, while four others remain questionable.
Among the uncertain is star running back Kewan Lacy. The 2025 Doak Walker Award finalist left Ole Miss' win over LSU in the third quarter with a shoulder injury.
Rebels head coach Pete Golding later revealed that an MRI showed the injury wasn't as severe as initially feared. Lacy is a game-time decision, but Florida defensive coordinator Brad White said the team is preparing as if Lacy will play.
