Florida released its first SEC-mandated availability report of the 2026 season Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s road game against Auburn.
It’s a short list that echoes head coach Jon Sumrall’s injury update from the beginning of the week. The Gators listed two players as questionable on Wednesday’s initial report: wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr. and defensive lineman Emmanuel Oyebadejo. No Florida players were listed as out.
“Both are out of the boot. They were in the boot through Saturday. They're both out of the boot,” Sumrall said of Oyebadejo and Singleton. “Both were out of practice today. Both were very, very, very limited today in practice, but were there. We'll know through the week.”
Sumrall intends to be “smart tough, not dumb tough” when
it comes to return timetables, with the goal of not rushing anyone back before they are ready.
“If they're not available, if they're not ready to play the right way for themselves, it's going to hurt the team,” he said. “Also, what I don't want to do is put them back in the fray and do something that sets them back further.”
Auburn’s availability list is also relatively light. Sophomore offensive lineman Tai Buster is out, while edge rusher Joe Phillips and tight end Hunter Herring are questionable.
None of the three has been a major statistical contributor so far, though Herring brings experience and versatility at tight end and on special teams, while Phillips is a former four-star prospect in Auburn’s edge rotation.
