The depth chart for Florida football's season-opening matchup against the FAU Owls at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium was released on Monday, giving Gator fans a first look at who they can expect to see on the field this Saturday.
On offense, Aaron Philo was already announced as the starting quarterback by head coach Jon Sumrall following the conclusion of fall camp, with Dallas Wilson, Vernell Brown III and Eric Singleton Jr. set to line up alongside him at wide receiver, and Jadan Baugh gets the nod in the backfield. Lacota Dippre will start in Florida's "Y" tight end role, while Amir Jackson and Luke Harpring are considered co-starters at the "H" tight end position.

On defense, the Gators will have Kamran James and LJ McCray sharing a spot at defensive end, Brendan Bett at noseguard, Jeremiah McCloud at defensive tackle and Jayden Woods at the JACK position, making up the starting front four. Miles Graham, Aaron Chiles and Jaden Robinson will be the three first-team linebackers, while Kanye Clark will open things up at STAR, and DJ Coleman and Bryce Thornton will man the two safety spots.
Ben Hanks III is scheduled to start at one of the cornerback positions, while Cormani McClain and J'Vari Flowers will split the role on the other side of the field.
On special teams, Patrick Durkin will take care of both the kickoff and placekicking duties, while Alec Clark will be the starting punter and placeholder, and Carter Milliron will serve as the long snapper. Running back London Montgomery will handle kickoff returns while Brown III will be the starting punt returner.
Florida's Week 1 matchup against FAU will take place on Saturday, Sept. 5, starting at 7:45 p.m. ET in the Swamp. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
