Six weeks into the 2026 NFL season, former Florida Gators continue to make their presence felt across the league.
Week 6 featured 35 active Gators on NFL rosters, with notable performances, including Kyle Pitts and Dameon Pierce. Here's a look at some of the best performances from former Gators across the NFL in Week 6.
Pitts turned in one of his best performances of the season in Week 6. The former No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft found the end zone twice against the Chicago Bears, catching five passes on a season-high seven targets for 50 yards. His five catches also tied his season high.
The pass catcher played 43 offensive snaps and earned an 82.4 offensive grade from Pro Football Focus (PFF), the highest mark on Atlanta's roster and second-highest
among eligible NFL tight ends in Week 6.
Just over a week after being elevated from the practice squad to the active roster, Dameon Pierce started for Philadelphia and immediately made an impact. The former Florida running back led the Eagles with 12 carries for 35 yards and scored his first touchdown since the 2024 season. Pierce also contributed through the air, catching four passes for 15 yards and finishing third on the team in receptions.
With Saquon Barkley injured, he should see an expanded role and prove he can still contribute to an NFL backfield.
Trent Brown delivered a dominant performance in the trenches in Houston's matchup with Jacksonville in London. Across 63 offensive snaps, Brown earned an 87.7 run-blocking grade from PFF, the highest among eligible offensive tackles across the NFL in Week 6. He also helped Houston's offensive line finish the game without allowing a sack.
Brown has remained reliable in pass protection throughout the season, surrendering just two sacks across 398 offensive snaps.
Ventrell Miller has put together an impressive couple of weeks. The former Florida linebacker recorded six tackles, a pass breakup, and a quarterback hit against Houston in London. For the second consecutive week, Miller led Jacksonville's defense in PFF grading, earning a 90.6 defensive grade. His 90.1 pass-rush grade also led the Jaguars.
Over six weeks, Miller has developed into one of the NFL's highest-graded defenders. His 92.5 overall defensive grade leads all qualified linebackers and all qualified defensive players across the league. He also leads Jacksonville with a 91.0 run-defense grade, plus an 85.6 pass-rush grade and an 89.1 coverage grade. His Week 6 performance earned him the second-highest defensive grade among qualified NFL linebackers.
Gervon Dexter Sr. made his presence felt against his former team.
Facing Chicago for the first time, the former Bears defensive tackle recorded four tackles, one sack, and two quarterback hits. His four tackles and two quarterback hits matched season highs, while his sack surpassed his previous season total of 0.5. PFF gave Dexter a 73.6 defensive grade, the second-highest among qualified Atlanta defenders. His 71.1 pass-rush grade also ranked second among the Falcons.
Through six weeks, Dexter owns an 82.8 overall defensive grade, the highest among qualified Atlanta defenders.
Jeremy Crawshaw continues to establish himself as one of the NFL's busiest punters. The second-year specialist punted eight times in Denver's Thursday night matchup with Seattle, tying for the league lead in Week 6. His punts totaled 395 yards, with a 56-yarder, and two landed inside the 20-yard line.
He has punted 32 times for 1,574 yards this season, ranking second in the league in both categories. His 14 punts inside the 20 are also tied for the NFL lead.
Trey Smack played a major role in Green Bay's Sunday night victory over Dallas. The rookie kicker connected on all three field-goal attempts, tying his career high, and converted both extra points. His longest field goal came from 44 yards. Smack accounted for a game-high 11 points, his season-high, as the Packers defeated the Cowboys by 10.
