The Swamp was rocking on Saturday night as Florida football overwhelmed the Campbell Fighting Camels, dropping a 52-3 victory on its FCS opponent in a game that was a treat for Gator fans to witness.
Things opened up on a shaky note, with Jon Sumrall's team falling behind by a field goal after the initial possession, but it was pretty much all Orange and Blue the rest of the way — even if the offense sputtered in the second half. In the end, Florida earned its first 2-0 start in five years and had some standout performances from some of its big-name players, while the defense looked improved over last weekend despite the punch in the face on the opening drive.
