Florida basketball returns to the parquet on Sunday afternoon for an exhibition game against the Baylor Bears in Jacksonville. It will be the first of two preseason matchups for Todd Golden and Co. as they begin their quest for a second national title in three years.
Florida enters the matchup expected to hold the top spot in the polls to begin the 2026-27 campaign and projected to earn the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament next March, according to ESPN's most recent bracketology. Baylor finished last season at .500 overall with a 17-17 record along with a disappointing 6-12 mark in Big 12 play, but is projected for a No. 10 seed in the same bracketology outlook.
