Florida football's star running back Jadan Baugh is off to a historic start to the 2026 campaign, having already amassed an SEC-leading 600 yards rushing and an FBS-best 11 touchdowns over his first four games.
Last weekend against the Ole Miss Rebels, the junior rusher ran for 142 yards with three touchdowns, marking his fifth straight game with more than 100 yards on the ground dating back to his 266-yard outburst against FSU in last year's regular-season finale. Averaging 7.2 yards per carry so far this season, there is no excuse for Jon Sumrall not to "run the Baugh."
The Gators standout began this fall as a dark-horse candidate for the Heisman Trophy, but after four games, he now finds himself in the thick of the race for college football's
most coveted award. Entering Week 5, the Atlanta, Georgia, native ranks fourth in BetMGM's Heisman betting odds at plus-1000, behind only Jeremiah Smith (+250), Darian Mensah (+450) and Kamario Taylor (+600).
Baugh will have a chance to add to his totals this coming weekend against Missouri in Columbia as he faces the Tigers for the first time in his collegiate career.
