Florida basketball added a second exhibition game to its preseason schedule on Thursday.
The Gators will face the Stetson Hatters on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. ET inside the O'Connell Center. The game will be streamed on the SEC Network+ with a radio broadcast on the Gators Sports Network.
The Orange and Blue holds a 53-12 all-time regular-season record in the series dating back to Jan. 15, 1921, when Stetson prevailed in Gainesville, 36-18. Florida has won 39 of its 44 games between the two schools on its home court.
Florida has triumphed in 20 straight matchups between the two Sunshine State schools, with its last loss coming on Nov. 26, 1983, at the O'Dome by a final score of 77-73. Most recently, the Gators defeated the Hatters at home, 85-45,
on Dec. 29, 2024.
Todd Golden's team is already set to face the Baylor Bears in the Jacksonville Hoops Showdown on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. ET inside VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. No television broadcast has been scheduled for that game as of yet, but the Gators Sports Network will have it on radio.
