Auburn leads the all-time series between the two schools with a 43-39-2 record dating back to 1912, but has won just one of the last four meetings. That victory came the last time they played — a 24-13 triumph in the Swamp that handed Florida the first of its two losses during the 2019 campaign.
The Tigers have absolutely dominated the Gators on their own home field, amassing a 26-8-1 mark at Jordan-Hare Stadium, which includes three straight wins. However, before that streak, UF
had also won three in a row at Auburn, so anything is possible this weekend.

If Florida is going to make some noise this season, it all begins with this game. It will be one of the few SEC matchups that the Gators are favored to win — and on the road to boot — but the margin of error will be razor thin against their historic conference rivals.
If the offense and special teams continue to click, things should bode well for the Orange and Blue, but the defense stepping up and continuing to make improvements will be the key to success. I think Florida's offense will prove to be too much for Auburn, while the defense will rise to the occasion despite still showing some weaknesses.
