Colton Hiller, the brother of Florida football commit Maxwell Hiller, has scheduled his first official visit with the Gators basketball program. Hiller is a five-star small forward from Coatesville, Pennsylvania, and the top-ranked prospect in the 2028 cycle.
The blue-chip forward is expected to be in Gainesville for his official visit on Sept. 5.
"Colton Hiller is currently the cycle's No. 3-ranked prospect, but he has a definite chance to be No. 1 before it's all said and done. The big wing is highly skilled, a known shotmaker and an emerging creator who relies on his balance and deceleration style." 247Sports director of scouting Adam Finkelstein said.
"Hiller is also notably younger than the other prospects atop this class. In fact, he just
celebrated his 16th birthday earlier this month. ... So, while Hiller would not be one-and-done eligible in 2027, that doesn't mean he can't help a college team right away. For the long term, though, his glaring overlap of talent and confidence makes him chief among the country's best prospects in any class," he concludes.
As previously mentioned, Hiller has significant family connections to the university, with his brother being committed to Jon Sumrall's football program.
Maxwell Hiller, a five-star interior lineman, is the No. 2 overall player in the country in the 2027 recruiting class.
Following his visit to Florida, Hiller will make his way to Durham to visit the Duke Blue Devils on Oct. 5.

Hiller is ranked the No. 1 overall player according to the 247Sports composite, while the Rivals industry ranking also has him at No. 1. On ESPN, Hiller is ranked No. 2 in the country and is the No. 1 at his position.
Rivals' recruiting prediction machine puts Duke in the lead, with the Blue Devils holding a 39.7% chance to land him. Florida (26.4%), Alabama (8.5%), Kansas St. (1.2%), and Penn State (1.2%) fill out his projected top five teams.
