The Florida volleyball program opens up its 2026 regular-season schedule on Sunday afternoon with a match against the Stony Brook Seawolves inside the O'Connell Center.
The 17th-ranked Gators are coming off a preseason exhibition against the top-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers in the historic Spikes Under the Lights match. The Orange and Blue was unable to take a set in the best-of-three format, but kept things close, falling 21-19 in the first set while dropping the second set, 21-18.
Stony Brook has already competed in a trio of matches, falling to the Robert Morris Colonials, 3-2, and North Carolina State Wolfpack in three straight sets on Friday, and another three-set loss to the UCF Knights on Saturday — all in the Black and Gold Classic held
in Orlando, Florida.
