The Republican Party took a historic defeat in Tuesday's midterm elections, seeing Democrats take control of both the House and the Senate. But even the gubernatorial races saw some stunning results.
And in Texas, it was clear that Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz was happy with what he watched overnight.
In a bid to serve a fourth term as Texas governor, Republican Greg Abbott lost Tuesday's election to Democratic candidate Gina Hinojosa. Her win makes it the first time Texas elected a Democratic governor since 1990, and she will become the state's first Latina governor.
While not every NFL player has been outspoken about the midterm elections, Schultz took to his Instagram Story with a fiery message to Abbott. (Warning: The image contains

Schultz has been vocally opposed to Abbott's policies going back to his time with the Cowboys in 2022.
