After the guys had their chance to take to the ballroom on Tuesday night, the season 35 premiere of Dancing with the Stars continued on Wednesday with the ladies. It was worth the wait as the female celebrities absolutely brought it for their first night of competition.
Love Island and Traitors star Maura Higgins was the star of the night, earning a score of 21 out of 30 for her foxtrot with partner Mark Ballas. Jenna Dewan and partner Val Chmerkovskiy were fabulous with a tango, and Save the Last Dance actress Julia Stiles was a wonderful surprise with her quickstep to Dolly Parton's "9 to 5" with partner Ezra Sosa.
But not everyone was as quick to take to the ballroom floor. While Connor Leavitt was the first star eliminated, who was the second?
Warning, spoilers follow for season 35 of Dancing with the Stars.
Sarah Jane Nader's "Sk8tr Boi" punk jive with new pro Hailey Bills just wasn't enough, and the Love Thy Nader star was sent home. The season continues next Tuesday at 8pm as the cast tackles viral hit songs.
