Are you sipping the Kool-Aid or not? That's really the only question to ask before you consider betting on another Kansas City Chiefs game. Are they as good as they looked Week 1 against the Denver Broncos -- or not?
While the real truth about Kansas City is likely somewhere in the middle, I lean towards that answer being closer to yes than no. That'll be reflected in my picks for Chiefs games until they prove otherwise... including these touchdown picks for Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts. They're all Chiefs.
It also helps that the Indy looked awful against Baltimore in its opener -- and I'm buying that too. These are my picks for Sunday Night Football.
Kenneth Walker III (-220)
After what Walker did to the Broncos last week, rushing for 173 with two combined touchdowns,
it'd be hard to imagine him not having a big game against a Colts team that just gave up 144 and three touchdowns to Derrick Henry. In fact, I'd be looking at his +260 odds to score two touchdowns.
Travis Kelce (+175)
Kelce came just a few yards short of making good on my pick for him to score in last week's game, but he did at least tie the Chiefs lead for catches and lead the team in yards. That shows he's still a big part of this passing attack, and the Colts are an excellent matchup for him, with a rookie at safety and underwhelming linebacker play.
Patrick Mahomes (+320)
Mahomes clearly wanted to make a statement in his first game back from knee surgery, rushing for a touchdown on the opening drive after having a near-touchdown run called back one play earlier. As he continues to knock off the rust and gain chemistry with his receivers, don't be surprised to see him make another dash for the end zone if the opportunity presents itself.
