This past week, Knicks guard Tyler Kolek learned the hard way about calling Taylor Swift a fake fan. And now, he's trying to make amends.
When asked who he considered the Knicks' "fakest" fan, the former Marquette guard singled out Swift because he had not seen her at many games before the epic Game 4 comeback, calling the 14-time Grammy winner's fandom "performative." Swift had attended Knicks games in the past and famously had her wedding at Madison Square Garden this summer.
That even had the Knicks taking Swift's side in a statementover their own player.
But that wasn't all: Kolek showed he was sorry by singing along (poorly) to "Blank Space" in the Knicks locker room. Teammate Jordan Clarkson posted to his Instagram Story to say that Kolek was sorry.

Kolek's girlfriend Alexi Sousa also didn't appreciate the remarks.
Yeah, it seems like Kolek learned his lesson.
